Match tools to the deliverable
A logo, a multi-page brochure and a social template need different capabilities and export formats. Confirm what the client will edit themselves and which source files are included. Use a trial or an existing tool to test the real export before promising it.
Prepare your reusable brief
Record the business goal, audience, message, deliverables, existing assets and decision maker. Include dimensions, channels, deadline and the agreed feedback process. A reference image can explain taste, but it does not replace a written objective.
Check assets and handoff requirements
Track where fonts, stock images and other assets came from and check their licence terms for the intended use. Confirm what the client needs to maintain or edit later. Do not assume every asset can be transferred with an editable project.
Make an organized project folder
Separate supplied assets, working files, feedback and final exports. Use meaningful version names. Test the final files in their intended context and include a short readme so the client knows which file to use and where.
Use learning resources alongside the tools
Adobe’s design-brief lesson is a useful resource for structuring discovery and deliverables. Canva Design School offers graphic-design basics. Use these as vendor learning resources while you test your own export and handoff workflow. Neither resource is a local school ranking or proof of professional qualification.
Places and resources to compare
Use these official directories and learning resources to build your shortlist. Check the exact branch, stock, account eligibility and current terms before travelling or ordering.

Questions & answers
Do I need to buy everything before taking a client?
Buy or arrange the equipment needed for the specific service you can competently deliver. Test the complete workflow first, and add optional tools when a real need justifies them.
Does EZ Customers track my supply inventory?
