Coordinate service-team bookings without losing the handoff

Make the service, assigned person, date and next action clear to everyone who needs them. Test the workflow using the actual team roles before relying on it for a busy day.

Define who owns the appointment

Name the person responsible for preparation and client communication. In EZ Customers, teams can assign bookings and manage access through roles. An assignment should mean something operationally: who reviews intake, who serves the client and who closes the work.

Keep the service and schedule aligned

Check that the service duration and availability fit the person doing the work. Clarify handoffs when one teammate conducts a consultation and another provides the service. Do not assume shared rooms or equipment are automatically coordinated by a person’s calendar.

Test permissions with a fictional booking

Check what the assigned teammate can see and change, and what remains owner-controlled. Use non-customer test information. Make sure the intended person can access preparation details without exposing unrelated client records.

Close the loop on a change

When an assignment or time changes, confirm who contacts the client and updates preparation. Keep notes concise and attached to the work. Review unassigned or unclear appointments before the next working day.

Questions & answers

Where should I start in EZ Customers?

Create the service and its booking details, then attach an intake form for the information needed before the appointment. Test the journey with fictional information before sharing it with clients.

Do I need every feature for my first service?

No. Start with the booking and client information you need. Add payment requests, file delivery or team tools when the service calls for them, and check the relevant plan.

Sources & editorial method

Prepared by EZ Customers from official provider pages and public question research. Provider descriptions are a dated selection, not a ranking, endorsement or first-hand review. Planning checklists and worked examples are original editorial material; they are not treatment instructions, legal templates or proof of professional qualification. Confirm current intake, pricing, campus, stock and eligibility directly. No affiliate links or paid placements are included.

Keep building your business.

Workflow

Keep client payment requests organized

Connect each request to the agreed work, state the amount and purpose clearly, and check the status before following up. A payment request, an invoice and your accounting records have different roles.
